Pumpkin Farm and Apple Orchard

Here are some pictures from our trip to Bert's Pumpkin Farm. All the boys had a good time. Josiah slept most of the time. Austin and Spencer were amazed at how big some of the pumpkins were. They had a good time picking the perfect carving pumpkins. On the way out, we enjoyed some pumpkin bread and popcorn.

Austin is smiling BIG in this picture to show off his teeth without his braces. He got them off a little over a week ago.

Most of the pumpkins were as big as Spencer.

After we left the pumpkin farm, we stopped at Hillcrest Apple Orchard.

Austin and Spencer had fun milking a cow for the first time. They even got a sticker that said "I milked Buttercup".

This is what happens if you get caught picking apples from the trees or off the ground!

Spencer's Football

Here is Josiah "watching" Spencer play football!

This was Spencer trying to get an interception. He got a hand on the ball and at least prevented the other team from making a pass.

In this play, Spencer made an awesome tackle.

This has been the best touchdown of the year! Even the coaches were shocked that Spencer kept going. As you watch the video, you will see Spencer (number 25) run the ball to the left side of the field. Then he cuts towards the center and we all thought he was tackled, but he was not! You will see that he cuts back to the right through an open hole and heads towards to right side of the field. Even though I could not get the entire run on video, because of the coaches on the sidelines, he brought the ball all the way for the only touchdown of the game!

One Month

Well believe it or not, it has already been over a month since Josiah was born. Boy, time goes by so fast! Josiah is doing well. We went to the doctor today (Oct. 15th) for his one month check up. Actually, he's 5 1/2 weeks, but we had to postpone his checkup due to pending insurance. So as of today, his weight is 9 lbs. 6 oz., which is in the 50th percentile for his age. His height is 21 inches, which is in the 25th percentile. The doctor checked various other things and said that he is just perfect (we already knew that)!

Here is a picture I took on his one month birthday.

This is a picture of Josiah hanging out at the football field during one of Spencer's games.

This is Josiah's favorite napping spot every afternoon ... daddy's favorite napping spot too!

Josiah is more aware of his surroundings and enjoys looking at his toys now.

Josiah is now starting to respond to people's voices when they are talking to him. Isn't he cute?!?!?!?

Bath Time!

Josiah had his first real bath at about 3 weeks. It went well and he enjoyed the water until mommy started washing his hair. Daddy had to help him sit in his tub because he is still so little.

Josiah enjoyed sucking on his wet thumb when mommy was holding him after his bath.

For Josiah's second bath, we bought a sponge to put in his baby tub in order to help him sit on his own. Again, Josiah enjoyed his bath and didn't even get upset this time when we had to wash his head. He was very alert through the bath and just sat calmly.
